Sat 14th: BVC BBQ- Golden Lion- Ticket price GBP 5.00 Food included @ 5pm followed by Awards and Disco - Bring your friends and family - Speak to committee members for more info.
Sat 28th: Club Beach Day- Lets welcome our German Friends with a nice turn out down Boscombe Beach Pier- Meeting time 10 am at the pier where the net should be up so we can get playing all day
As an aside, the weekend beach day in Boscombe coincides with the EV Beach Volleyball Finals at Bournemouth, so if anyone is interested they can watch those too. They are invariably free and usually start around 9am, finishing early evening. The actual finals are on the Sunday, but plenty of top players will participating on the Saturday to reach the finals (including world ranked pairs), along with the World President of the FIVB! It's the biggest weekend for UK beach volleyball in 2010 and entry for spectators has been free for all the tour events this summer so far.- speak to Andy M for more details
